According to the OS benchmark database there is a rivet benchmark cut into the roadside wall on the south side of the road. Nothing was found.

Tidying up?
A row of timber posts have appeared along the side of Harlow Moor Road cutting off an area of hard standing from the road, with only a few gaps wide enough to accommodate a car. For decades this was used as parking for dog walkers, and during school term times was an area where school buses were left during the day. Maybe they looked too untidy for the local council?

New development off Harlow Moor Road
'Executive' houses in a new development off Harlow Moor Road near the pinewoods in Harrogate. The builder's own website suggests prices in excess of £1 million, so quite expensive even by Harrogate standards. The estate is on former Harrogate water works land.
