Tower Street
Running from West Park before turning into Belmont Road and joining Victoria Avenue. There used to be a chippy in the corner (out of shot on the left), along with the still existing car shops and bowling alley, now 10 pin, but formerly 9.

Alley, Harrogate
From Tower Street, this cobbled alley leads to Robert Street, and is something of a rat run, to judge by the number of vehicles that were using it while I was taking photos. However, it's referred to as a "private street" in Harrogate Borough Council documents.

Demolition site, Harrogate
Alas, what looked a rather interesting industrial building, shown on the left of Image and the right of Image and most recently used as a bowling alley, has been demolished. The proposal is to build a hotel on the site. At least the historic setts on the ginnel (currently closed) should survive. This view is along Tower Street.
