The River Holme alongside Woodhead Road, Holmfirth
The river makes a rather sharp turn here, probably due to the construction of the road on a high retaining wall. A culvert enters, apparently from under the houses although it might have crossed under the road and then turned left. The iron box is probably a sewer manhole.

No finial - no arms; by the A635, in parish of Holme Valley (Kirklees District), Greenfield Road, Holmfirth, junction with Burnlee Road.
Lost after 2015 reconstruction of wall.
