Difficult terrain on the edge of Netherwood Heys, Marsden
It is often not a good idea to try to walk alongside the boundary wall between the fields and the moor. Amongst these tussocks there is the stream shown in Image The best route seems to be along the edge of areas covered by heather.

Stile on a footpath at Netherwood Lane, Marsden
The 1:25000 map shows the path continuing across the lane, but in fact you have to turn left down the lane and then turn right on an enclosed path along the edge of the woodland. The little box is for eggs for sale.
