Former mills, Hoyle House Road, Linthwaite
This was Mallinson's Spring Grove Mills. It is now divided between a number of uses. Many of the buildings have been demolished to make way for the large car park. The mill chimney has been truncated to the same height as the adjoining building.

Colne Valley Business Park, Linthwaite
The former Spring Grove Mills alongside the A62 Manchester Road. This was one of many mills arranged along the bottom of the Colne Valley when the local woollen industry moved from domestic production on the valley sides where there was a dual textile/farming economy.

Co-operative shop, Manchester Road, Linthwaite
It is nice to see an old Co-op still in use. The shop-front has changed somewhat! The inscription in the pediment reads: Slaithwaite Equitable Industrial Society Limited, with the date 1904.
