Old milestone
This West Riding CC milestone stands outside 185 Manchester Road at the south east end of Linthwaite. 615 of this style of milestone were set up all over the old West Riding in 1893/94. Well over half still survive by the roadside 130 years later. It is Grade II listed 1217289.

Stile above Banks Road
This leads a path slanting down to Banks Road. The elaborate stile and the tape trying to stand in for a wall that has disappeared could have been an item for the Colne Valley 'Sculpture Trail'.
