The Manor House, Slaithwaite
This Grade II star building is divided into the Dartmouth Estate offices, part of which is in the foreground and has a ten-light mullioned window and two cottages. It was built in the late 16C; the further cottage was added a little later as you can see by the quoins between the two doors.

Old Roman Milestone by Manor House, Nabbs Lane, Slaithwaite
Carved stone post was on Via, in parish of SLAITHWAITE AND MARSDEN (KIRKLEES District), Booth Banks Clough, Chester-York (Margery), now off Nabbs Lane, in lawn behind the Manor House (visible from the road). Roman milestone, erected by the Government in the 3rd century. Now used as a sundial. Grade II listed.
