The north-western part of the mill complex, seen from the Linthwaite side of the river. To the left of the buildings there is a hoist cover over three taking-in doors. The brick chimney on the apex of the roof is unusual for a mill building.

A complete piece of textile history here with a farm across the lane an 18th cent Clothiers Home in a courtyard with a 19th cent house adjacent and down the lane to the canal with what was the fully developed mill of the 19th cent would have been the ideal place to have a Textile Heritage Centre?
