Former mill and chimney, Golcar
A nicely preserved octagonal stone chimney on a square pedestal. This appears to be associated with a small former mill that was, at least in part, 'The Weavers' Shed' restaurant (a favourite of my late father). There is a fine, solid house on the front of the works; presumably the owner's house.

Providence Methodist Church, Golcar
A nicely kept interior, ready for Xmas. This at the gallery level and it has been floored over creating a separate room in the stalls below. There are box pews behind the photographer. Unfortunately the sun was picking out the altar area rather too brightly.
