St Chad, Hove Edge
This church was built in 1911-2 to serve the village of Hove Edge, which already had a Methodist chapel.

Two bungalows on the Hill Crest housing estate, Hove Edge
The one on the left has not been altered, and you can see the decorative features above the windows and door: A small pediment with a circular motif over the door, and the same motif over the windows. Like many of the bungalows the other one has had a porch added, which obscures much of the original frontage.

Crest View and Crest Place, Hove Edge
This is part of the Hill Crest Estate, which was built between 1893 an 1907 (1:2500 map dates) and is unusual for that period in being a development of bungalows. This is a revisit to the first geograph for the square: Image The road has been tarmacked, but otherwise not much has changed.

St Chad's Church, Hove Edge, Brighouse
Although now part of the built-up area of Brighouse, Hove Edge was at one time a hamlet in a rural setting. This church was completed in 1912 to serve the rapidly growing population.
