Footpath from Rydings Avenue to Halifax Road
This is not an old path and was presumably made by the developer of Rydings Avenue. It was claimed as a right-of-way in 2005 but the claim evidently is sitting on a shelf gathering dust.

The Albion is out of action at present. The plaque on the building at the corner (next to Waterloo Road) reads 'Lane Head Terrace 1884'.

Halifax Road / Waterloo Road junction
On the corner next to the Albion PH is a house with boarded-up shop windows. It was a post-office. Brighouse is along the road to the right, and Waterloo Road is the side road to the left.
