The Rydings, Brighouse
Built c1840 for John Brooke, a local corn miller (according to the listing) when it was a four bay house. The three right-hand bays were added by R.F. Rogerson in 1907. Grade II listed.
Sitting in a public park, it now houses the library and Smith Art Gallery, its current funding by Calderdale Council apparently in the balance.
