This is a modern path presumably made when the houses on the left were built. It is neither a public footpath nor a street but is obviously intended for public use.

Upper Bonegate, Brighouse
This street is the driveway to Field House, but is now an unadopted street serving property on either side. It is still just a driveway above the footpath to Stanley Street.

Bonegate Avenue, Brighouse
The houses on the right are part of the Stanley Street development, but for some reason the backs face onto Bonegate Avenue, which had the grounds of Bonegate House, now partly built on, on the left.

Gateway to Bonegate Hall, Bonegate Road, Brighouse
A previous house on this site was the home of the Brighouse family, who were first mentioned in court records in 1275. The datestone 'HB 1635' is presumably from an earlier house.

It is perhaps naughty to peek over a gate, but the gable-end of this garage looked so interesting. Presumably it was a coach house when it was built.

The Ritz Ballroom, Bradford Road, Brighouse
This was built as a cinema in 1937. It is now not just a ballroom, but also has a programme of entertainment on stage.
