Entrance to Wellholme Park from Oak Hill Road
Oak Hill Bank is the name of the wooded hillside on the right. A channel formerly crossed the grassland, carrying water to Little John Mill (which is near Robin Hood Wire Works!).

Defibrillator on the GMB Trade Union building, Brighouse
This is the third defibrillator that I have noticed in the town centre, the others being on Bethel Street and Commercial Street. There is also one on Carr Green Lane in Rastrick, opposite the tennis club.

Footway alongside the Tesco car park
I had intended to take a photograph of the radio mast but it was upstaged by the lamp post. When I tried again from a different angle my camera battery went on strike, complaining that it was too cold.

Tesco supermarket, Brighouse
Tesco had a relatively small store at the western end of town (now Wilkinson's) and then Sainsbury's came along and built a bigger one off Huddersfield Road, so Tesco went one better and built this enormous supermarket open 24hrs (except Sunday of course).

Flooding at Tesco, Brighouse
For the second time in ten days the lower part of Tesco's car park is flooded. Water is pouring through the sheet piling from the park above (possibly due to overloaded land drainage?).
