Music shop, Huddersfield Road, Rastrick
This building has 'Calder Bank Mills' over the door, and was presumably the offices. The mill building was about 50m distance to the rear, with the Quaker burial ground in between. The 1905 map shows it as a silk mill.

R H & G Travis & Son Ltd, Rastrick
Makers of tungsten-tipped chisels. It's good to see small workshops like this surviving in the age of the multi-national companies. They are up-to-date, with a website from which I have quoted "We supply to stonemasons, sculptors and engravers worldwide from our workshop in Brighouse using traditional manufacturing techniques.".

Brighouse Bridge
Brighouse Bridge viewed north from Cliffe Lane towards Brighouse town centre.
The double stone arch carries the A641 Huddersfield Road across the River Calder.
The bridge was built in 1825 and has undergone modifications which include the addition of the overhanging walkway,
