Allaria petiolata, Bank Street, Brighouse
This plant has so many alternative English names that I have used the Latin one. It is in the Mustard family so I suppose garlic mustard could be suitable. The leaves are edible and can be used in a salad. 'Garlic' refers to the smell of the leaves when bruised.

Bank Street Car Park, Brighouse
A large number of houses on the north side of were demolished during the slum clearances in the mid-20C, and have been replaced by a free car park, which is no doubt used by town centre employees.

This is on the site of many back-to-back houses that were cleared in the 1960s. It is provided for commuters and costs £2 for the day.

Here a business has moved out of premises on an inconvenient site, which extends to the red-brick building in the distance, to a new business park. The houses in the foreground appear to have been used as offices, and the pallet is on the car park.
