Catholic Church of St Brigid and St Martin, Longwood
This church is down the slope from Lower Gate, and easily missed when passing by. I have now (September 2010) been informed that it has been demolished (due to subsidence and consequential structural problems?) and the land is up for sale.

This must be one of the narrowest roads! Possibly at that time 'road' was local dialect for 'way' as in the expression “Get out o't' road!”.
