The Waverley Arms, Farnham
Pub on Waverley Lane, very close to Farnham Railway Station. The buses are old and new. In the foreground is a vintage Guernsey bus (Albion, YFO 127) - visiting the 2010 Running Day of vintage Aldershot & District buses. A Farnham door-knocker: Will Shakespeare?
Just a detail, but one which says something about the character of the town. What may not be clear from the photo, is that the poor fellow's nose has been partly worn away - evidence, I reckon, of many years of use. Hard to say what metal he's made of, but brass would seem to be a fair guess.
