Farncombe station
The station buildings on the up platform.
The station is on the Portsmouth Direct line which opened in 1859, and was electrified in 1937. Farncombe station did not open until 1897, presumably due to the proximity of the old Godalming station, only about 800m to the south at SD974444.

From Farncombe to Marrakech
Commuters on the platform at Farncombe are greeted by an advertising hoarding nearly the size of the station building which reads "Go from being chilly on a platform to chilling out in Marrakech".
