Converted Water Tower, Frith Hill, Godalming
An interesting conversion of a water tower into a house. Pevsner wrote of the tower "the materials patterned as subtly as Lutyens would have done".

View from Frith Hill Road, Godalming
Houses have been built on a precipitous hillside, giving a dizzy view over the Wey Valley. Peper Harow Road can be seen in the distance. Despite its name, it stops after less than a km, and only a footpath continues to Peper Harow.

Pub: 'The Charterhouse', Chalk Road, Godalming
A pub which takes its name from the rather better-known school nearby. The image makes the point that both red brick and stone are traditional building materials in Godalming - stone in this instance being used for the pub's boundary wall. Photo taken on a very warm July afternoon, with the temperature at about 27C.
