The Round House, Albury (1)
The Round House stands in Blackheath Lane, by the corner of Church Lane. It looks as if it may once have been 8-sided - if so, it has been extended at the back. Gothick windows were fashionable for small domestic buildings in the 50 years up to about 1840. Compare an example from Hertfordshire: Image dated 1832. Photo taken about 20 minutes before sunset.

The Round House, Albury (2)
A pretty little building, standing on a knoll at the point where Church Lane turns off Blackheath Lane. The front part of the house is in the form of half an octagon. - and the name seems to suggest that the octagon was once complete. The Gothick windows would suggest a date of about 1830.
