M3: Fleet services walkway
This is the pedestrian walkway that connects the two sides of the services at Fleet, allowing access to facilities to be maintained in the event of closure of either side, whether for technical or operational reasons.

The inside of Fleet Services
The three telegraph poles match those outside. I was involved as a weekend team of volunteers at my school in around 1973 to build an outdoor pavilion held up by telegraph poles, and it was our job to get them erect from lying on the ground and then stabilised. It was indeed hard work.

I had to go to the new West Middlesex Hospital recently and the concourse there is now very similar to this and looks more like an airport than a hospital.

Fleet: postbox № GU51 334, M3 Services
This modern postbox stands outside the main entrance of the southwestbound services at Fleet, and is emptied finally at 4 o'clock on weekday afternoons and 7 on Saturday mornings.

Fleet: when is a footbridge a subway?
A poster advertising the presence of Subway, the refreshment outlet, on the northbound services to those travelling southbound. Somehow a subway being over a bridge seems an odd suggestion!
