The Queens at Selborne is situated in the middle of the picturesque and interesting village famous for its erstwhile curate Gilbert White whose house here can be visited. The pub serves several Real Ales and a good selection of food.

The Queen's Inn, Selborne
One of two pubs in Selborne. The Queens is the older of the two & was certainly around at the time of Gilbert White (1720-93). It was originally the Compasses but renamed in 1839 to the Queens Inn. The other pub is the Selborne Arms http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1206146
