RIP Rowlands
Rowlands, son and Vincent really was the most elegant shop I have ever been in. I only had reason to go in once- my grandmother wanted a brand of furniture polish that had ceased production many years before. A man like a butler wrapped it beautifully and then meticulously calculated its decimal price from the original 7/6 notation.

Caffe Nero - Survived the lockdown
Happily Caffe Nero survived the lockdown and is once again open for business as usual.
During the height of the lockdown they had extended their outdoor seating into the adjacent parking spaces which had been temporarily suspended.
