Entrance to the College of Law, Portsmouth Road, Guildford
The entrance to the College of Law is off Portsmouth Road, the A3100 road. There is a long drive to the College buildings. The College of Law provides training for people to become solicitors and barristers. It has several centres, all in England.

Old house on corner of Portsmouth Road and Sandy Lane, St. Catherine's, Guildford
Now a private house, for many years in the Victorian era, and the early years of the 20th century, part of this building was used as a coffee house. These were places where you could sit and drink coffee and chat with friends. When it was in use as a coffee house, the entrance to this, was where the downstairs window now is, on the left fronting Portsmouth Street. It must have been a risky business entering and leaving the building, as there is hardly any pavement on the Portsmouth Road frontage.

St Catherine's Chapel, Guildford.
Sitting on the hill on the west bank of the Wey, the chapel is beside the site of the old St Catherine's Fair. It is also on the Pilgrim's Way, the supposed long distance mediaeval path between Winchester and Canterbury.
