Looking across farmland to Old Ditcham Farm
There are records of tenant farmers at Old Ditcham dating back to the early 17th C. The farm was part of the nearby Ditcham Park estate until it was sold off as a separate entity in 1922.

Farm track (wet)
This leads off the lane going north to Old Ditcham. The house to the right is identified on Get-a-map as Noddswood. The high ground behind the house is Torberry Hill in West Sussex.

Field margin, near Old Ditcham
Neatly trimmed hedging on the right and a germinating crop are really the only visible features in this image of this rural square although a high voltage power line crosses the square diagonally south west to north east. Old Ditcham Farm is out of sight on the right. Most of the farm's buildings are in the next square east i.e. SU7620
