E H Shepard's House, Lodsworth
Shepard illustrated "Winnie the Pooh" and "Wind in the Willows". His cottage, "Woodmancote", is a mixture of dark and light bricks, carries a round blue plaque, and sits on the southern end of the village street.

E.H.Shepard's house, Lodsworth
The blue plaque on the front explains that the famous illustrator of Winnie-the-Pooh and The Wind in the Willows lived here from 1955 - 1976, which was the year of his death.
