Early trip to Tesco: late March 2022
Tesco was founded by Jack Cohen in 1919. Sadly Sir Jack died in 1979. Departing this month were Aussie cricket legends Rod Marsh and Shane Warne, both on the 4th of March; ex Man U manager Frank of Farrell, 6th March; the perennially young Mexican footballer Tomás Boy, 8th; Fields of Athenry songwriter Pete St John, 12th; actor William Hurt, 13th; the doubly named singer Glen Glenn, 18th; US Secretary of State Madeline Albright, 23rd; Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins, 25th; and The Wanted’s Tom Parker on the 30th
