South Road, Bisley
The tear drop shaped green at the southern end of South Road, developed in the late 1960s as prison warders housing when Coldingly Prison was built. The site was formerly the orchards of the Shaftesbury School.

Scarlet Lily Beetle
A Scarlet Lily Beetle (Lilioceris lilii) doing what it does best, namely destroying perfectly good garden lilies! The Lily Beetle is similar in appearance to the black-headed Cardinal Beetle (Pyrochroa coccinea) but is smaller with the elytra being shinier, more rounded and covered in small dimples.

A common frog (Rana temporaria) in a flower bed. these frogs do travel quite widely, there are no ponds or water courses for some distance.

Garden spider + prey
A garden spider (Araneus diadematus) with a freshly cocooned wasp which had just flown into the web. This is one of the commonest spiders in the UK and can easily be recognised by the white markings, often in the form of a cross, on its back.
