Gate lodge, Bisley Office Furniture
The gate lodge at the entrance to the former Bisley office furniture factory is the only remaining part of the factory as of May 2016 after the rest had been demolished for housing.

Former Bisley office furniture factory
The factory in Queens Road undergoing demolition in late 2015. The company was started in 1931 in St Johns by a Freddy Brown as a car repair workshop. He relocated to the Bisley site in 1941 and undertook various Government contracts during the war. Sheet metal office furniture began to be manufactured after the war and continued on this site until the decision to relocate to Newport in Wales was made in 2012.

The end of an era
The Bisley Office Furniture sign at the factory entrance on Queens Road, Bisley. Demolition of the factory was taking place at the time after the company relocated to Newport in Wales. Freddy Brown, a sheet metal worker, founded the company in 1931 as a car repair business at St Johns near Woking.

What made Bisley famous
The Bisley office furniture factory in Queens Road. Countless filing cabinets and key lockers were manufactured in this factory. Production has now been moved to South Wales and the site sold to a housing developer so the link with Bisley itself will be severed.
