The Fox Inn, Bisley

The Fox Inn, Bisley
The Fox Inn, now closed down and awaiting its fate. There is a under offer board in the car park but for what purpose is yet to be revealed. The inn was marked on the first edition of the OS maps so predates 1871. The current front section was built in 1955. There is an old photograph https://www.francisfrith.com/bisley/bisley-fox-inn-1911_63145 in the Francis Frith collection dating from 1911.

Former public house
The site of the Fox Inn, demolished in January 2014. The Fox Inn had existed since before the 1870s. Bisley now has one inn, the Hen and Chickens, which can feel safe now that the Fox has been laid to rest. Image
