Stone Circle, West Byfleet
Extract from The Megalithic Portal: 'There are two modern stone circles in Southern England. The first is at Pyrford, near West Byfleet, Surrey. It stands in the grounds of Temple Organics. John Temple constructed the circle using cardinal points and uses it to empower his oils etc which he uses for healing. The stone stand about 12 - 18" tall, they appear to be granite.'

Modern stone circle near Pyrford
The Megalithic Portal website http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=2146410368 tells us: "There are two modern stone circles in Southern England. The first is at Pyrford, near West Byfleet, Surrey. It stands in the grounds of Temple Organics. John Temple constructed the circle using cardinal points and uses it to empower his oils etc which he uses for healing. The stones stand about 12 - 18" tall, they appear to be granite." Photo taken from Pyrford Road, West Byfleet. Jack Temple died in 2004 aged 86. An article in The Telegraph http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2004/02/20/db2001.xml&sSheet=/portal/2004/02/20/ixportal.html relates how "patients could boost their self-restorative powers by sitting in a special vibrating chair, or capture the healing power of the sun and moon in Temple's neolithic circle - an arrangement of boulders, garden seats and crop circle-style engravings on the lawn beside his bungalow."
