Old Milestone, A30, London Road, 50m East of Junction with Knoll Lane
The milestone is located on the small grass verge to the car dealership forecourt, on the south side of road. Parish of Camberley (Surrey Heath District). Carved stone post, Hartford limestone diamond design, erected by the Basingstoke, Hartfordbridge & Blackwater (and Odiham) Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : Hartford Brid(ge) / 6¾ : : LONDON / 29 : : Bagshot / 2¾ : Carved benchmark on mid back left. Milestone Society National ID: SY_LE29
