Former Arriva Bus Depot, Guildford
Situated in Leas Road GU1 4QT, this bus depot was opened in April 1932 by London General Country Services Ltd, but transferred to London Transport on the 1st July 1933 where it operated green buses. On the 1st January 1970, it was transferred again to London Country Bus Services Ltd and about 30 vehicles were based there. During the 1980s, it became London Country Bus (South West) Ltd then in the late 1990s, it was renamed Arriva Guildford and West Surrey. This bus depot was completely rebuilt in 2002 and over 70 buses in turquoise livery are based there, mostly single-deckers, operating services in the Guildford, Cranleigh and Woking areas. Update: this bus depot closed on Friday 17th December 2021 with services being transferred to other bus operators.

Leas Road Garage
Bus garage of Arriva Guildford & West Surrey, located at the corner of Leas Road and Mary Road. The garage was open on 17th July 2010 to accept visiting buses and coaches taking part in a celebration to mark the 80th anniversary of Green Line services. The first Green Line Route ran from Embankment, by Charing Cross Station, to Guildford. There are two preserved Green Line vehicles visible in this shot along with a number of transport enthusiasts.
