Green Line Anniversary - Guildford
RMC4 - the prototype Routemaster coach - passes along Woodbridge Road on a special operation of the 715 Route to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Green Line services. She is bound for Leas Road Garage where she will terminate. The commemorative run followed the original route of the first service from Embankment to Guildford. RMC4 was the 4th Routemaster and entered service in 1957 carrying fleet number CRL4. She became RMC4 in 1961 and remained in service until sold into preservation by Arriva in the late 1990's. Her full story can be found on the Ian's Bus Stop web site at http://www.countrybus.org/RM/RM4.html#top
