North Street, Guildford
This ancient street runs parallel to the High Street. It is wide because it used to hold livestock markets. Today it still houses weekly markets, mostly for flowers, fruit and vegetables. The prominent white building is Guildford Institute. The building with the clock tower was a fire station but today houses public conveniences.
