The Keep (1), 29/30 Castle Street, Guildford, Surrey
Built in the 1740's, it became a beer house about 1815. In the 1840's the building plus the adjoining house were knocked into one and the business traded as The Two Brewers. There have been other names including Mustard, Three Tuns and Mash Tun. Currently owned by Enterprise Inns. Next door, on the right, is Saxon House, used as offices.

The Keep
Old building on Castle Street, facing Guildford's Great Tower, hence the name of the pub. Next door to it is the Saxon House which is sometimes used for historical displays.
