A long cul-de-sac of large private houses to the south of Epsom Road. Another feature is the number of private greens along this road.

A sign of Merrow's Past.
On the Merrow Downs, about 1 mile south of the Epsom Road, is the site of the former Merrow Racecourse. The Victorians raced here but now this area of the North Downs is covered by Guildford's Golf Course. The sign shows a finishing post, horse and rider against a rail. To the east (right) of this photograph is Merrow's pub - the Horse and Groom - another reminder of the local racing history.
The bus is on the London Country route from Epsom to Guildford.
