Church of the Ascension, Ayling Hill
A small church which was built during World War 2. Website "A Church Near You" https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/8075/find-us/ says "The foundation stone for the Church of the Ascension was laid in 1939, the first service was held in the church on 17th December 1939 and the building was consecrated in 1945." It looks like something has hit the churchyard wall which has been patched up with wooden boards. Whatever it was bent the church notice board as well.
