Aldershot Bus Station
Modern town centre bus station and it is sited adjacent to the railway station - setting a good example to other less fortunate municipalities. This single decker bus is on the Kite route, regularly connecting Aldershot with Guildford.

Cannon Fodder for Thought
25 pound Howitzer gun from WW2 makes an interesting centrepiece to the space in front of Aldershot's bus and railway station. Aldershot is a garrison town and "Home to the British Army".

Charter train pauses in Aldershot Station
The train hauled by diesel locomotive Class 37/5 number 37510 in Direct Rail Services compass livery has arrived from the Staines direction. The coach, Mark 2 open standard number 5276 was built at Derby in 1967 and is in Riviera Trains oxford blue and cream livery. After the pause the train would depart towards Woking with Class 37/0 number 37229 leading.
