Stone Stile Ampney Field Farm, Ampney Crucis GS9299
Stone slab stiles on the south side of Akeman Street, opposite Ampney Field Farm, are two stone slabs hidden in a copse at right angles to the road. No access but can be seen from road. These are two of six old stiles which were once on a public footpath. To find leave B4425 then go past Cotswold Fastenings on the old Roman road Akeman Street. See also Image]

Stone Stile Ampney Field Farm, Ampney Crucis GS9299
Stone slab stiles on the south side of Akeman Street, opposite Ampney Field Farm, are two stone slabs hidden in a copse at right angles to the road. No access but can be seen from road. Old Milestone near Ampneyfield, Ampney Crucis Parish
Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of AMPNEY CRUCIS (COTSWOLD District), Ampneyfield, on embankment, on North side of road. Cirencester Hatherop plate, erected by the Cirencester to St John's Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century.
