Langford, Filkins Road: Robert Courts election poster
Robert Courts succeeded David Cameron in the Witney constituency and won the resultant by-election in 2016. At the 8th June General Election, he beat the Labour candidate, Laetisia Carter into second place with a 21,241 majority.

Langford War Memorial (1), Village Green, Langford, Oxon
Located on the small village green at the junction of Lechlade Road and Station Road. The memorial consists of a Latin cross with an octagonal base and plinth. It has an engraving, behind the poppy wreath, recording that the memorial was erected by the parishioners in 1920. There are various other engravings, including the names of people from the parish who died in both world wars. The engraving visible in this view says: "To the Honoured Memory of the Men of this Parish who died for their country in the Great War 1914 - 1919." Image Image

In this view there are two engraved panels visible. That on the left reads: "Also in honoured memory of those of this Parish who fell in the World War 1939 - 1945 H Lumsden Cb D.S.O. M.C.
