St Martin's Church - Horsley, Gloucestershire
The only part of St Martin's church remaining from ancient times is the 14th century tower, the rest of the building is more modern. On 11th August 1732 the vicar performed a 'half marriage' – he recorded that the couple had only paid him 2s 6d ('two shillings and sixpence' or 'half a crown') so he refused to complete the ceremony. Time photo taken not available.
