Memorial to Warren Hastings
The memorial and grave of Warren Hastings (1732-1818) in the churchyard of Daylesford church; was born in the nearby village of Churchill. The memorial is made in Coade stone. He was Governor-General of Bengal, and the first governor of India. In 1788, he purchased Daylesford House where he lived until his death in 1818.
