Farmington Green
At one side of the green stands a small wooden shelter with tiled roof built over the village pump in memory of the lord of the manor Edmund Waller . When built just after his death in 1898 it had a thatched roof but this was replaced with stone in 1935 by the people from Farmington, in Connecticut, USA to mark the tercentenary of the foundation of the state.
