Bourton-on-the-Water Primary School playground
The reconstruction of an Iron Age hut provides a permanent historical reference to Iron Age living in the area and was built 15 years ago by the school's pupils and Blue Peter.

Bourton-on-the-Water railway station
Built in the 1930s, the station survived nearly half a century after the line's closure to passenger traffic in 1962. Situated in later years incongruously on the edge of an industrial estate, it was finally demolished in 2009.

Bourton County Primary School
Bourton had a number of small and somewhat eclectic mix of private and fee-paying schools over the years. But by 1899 the two main buildings were condemned and a new single school built here in 1902.
