Elkstone village

Hill View, Elkstone
Late 20th century social housing in the village cluster of Elkstone, north of and quite distinct from the cluster around the church. They are grouped in a picturesque manner round a communal green with vehicle access at the back. The unfussy style of the houses captures the spirit of this windy hill village far better than the modern villas nearby which are mostly obscured by evergreen hedges.
