River Chelt flood alleviation works
This channel carries overflow water from the River Chelt further east when necessary.

River Chelt, Sandford Park
A few yards further west the river disappears into a culvert and can only be glimpsed in a couple of places before emerging into the open west of Cheltenham town centre in Bayshill about half a mile west of here.
