Sign recording the old George Inn, Stroud
The sign http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3335679 on a Threadneedle Street wall near Swan Lane records that from 1654 to 1819 this was the location of the George Inn. The wall was part of the inn's stables which remained after the rest of the inn was demolished.
