MOT test centre, London Road, Stroud
Part of the Bristol Street Motors site which is on both sides of the A419 London Road in the southeast of Stroud.
In the UK, the MOT test is a mandatory annual examination of a motor vehicle. Exemptions include a vehicle which hasn't reached the third anniversary of its registration, tractors, cars & motorcycles made before 1960 and goods vehicles powered by electricity.
For lorries, buses and trailers, instead of an MOT, there is a yearly check, sometimes called the annual vehicle test. This test is mandatory from 12 months after the vehicle was first registered with DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency).
